Terms of Service
1. Payment
All fees for services must be paid upfront unless otherwise agreed upon. We reserve the right to adjust our pricing at any time.
2. Refunds
2.1 Due to the personalized nature of our services, all sales are final. Refunds will not be issued once work has commenced (unless you paid for expedited service, see 2.2).
2.2 Services rendered including resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profile writing + optimization, interview prep, and resume reviews are only refundable if you paid for expedited service and did not receive your drafts by the end of the second day after your resume call (these are drafts, not the final copies).
3. Turnaround Time
3.1 For non expedited services, the timeline for resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile drafts is estimated to be 5 days, as outlined in the customer onboarding form. However, the timeline is subject to change based on the complexity of the project or the current demand for our services, as well as personal interruptions in the lives of both the customer and the writer.
3.2 Expedited service (only applies to resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles): The timeline for these services is 2 days or less if you pay for expedited services. If you do not receive your drafts within that period, you are entitled to a refund (see 2.2).
3.3 Interview prep and resume reviews have no timeline. They occur when you book them through the attached links.
4. Revisions
4.1 We offer 1 revision within 30 days after the initial delivery of the document. Revisions are limited to adjustments based on the original service request. We withhold the right to charge an extra fee for additional revisions as long as we have made the customer adequately aware of this before carrying out those additional services.
5. Privacy
5.1 We are committed to protecting customer data and maintaining confidentiality. See our privacy policy for more information.
6. Liability
6.1 While we take great care in providing our services, we cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions in the finished product. We are not responsible for any damages that may result from the use or inability to use our services.
7. Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate our services or a customer's account at any time for any reason. In the event of termination, any outstanding fees owed to us must be paid immediately.
8. Governing law
8.1 These terms of service are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the Province of Ontario and all applicable laws in Canada; any legal disputes arising from them will be settled in accordance with these laws.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 We retain the intellectual property rights to the finished product (e.g., the resume or cover letter) until payment is made in full. Once payment is received, the customer has ownership of the finished product and may use it for any purpose, except to sell it. Resume Rejuvenation retains the right to use non-identifiable content for marketing or portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
10. Agreement
10.1 By using our services, customers agree to our terms of service. We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
